Introduction & Objectives

The 2027 edition of the biennial congress of the Italian Society of Applied and Industrial Mathematics (SIMAI) will be held in L'Aquila and hosted by University of L'Aquila from 7–11 June 2027.

The conference aims to bring together researchers and professionals from academia and industry working on mathematical and numerical modelling, as well as their applications to industrial and real-world problems. It seeks to stimulate interdisciplinary research in applied mathematics and to foster interaction between the scientific community and industry. The conference will also highlight emerging topics related to data science, high-performance computing, and machine learning.
